| If someone threatens to beat me up does that give me the right to pull out a gun and shoot them? Or does it have to be at gun point? Also, Does a knife count as an arm?

I thought it only allows you to keep arms, not necessarily use them ?
I'm not sure if that's right, I'm Canadian  .
And yeah I think a knife would count.
Nevermind, I guess it does say to protect yourself.

Theres a limit to self defence...
Naturally, you are allowed to fight back, but I hardly see killing the other person as the solution. Any judge would consider that murder.
If you are about to get killed because some psychopath is about to torture you to death or someone has your family at gun point while robbing your house, then i guess that using the gun is rather resonable. Any other situation would most likely get you in serious trouble and you will be charged with murder.

lol im from england... and we dont need things like guns since most normal criminals dont have them! It works wonders,not really much gun crime!
