My friend told me that making auctions on ebay is free but when I tried it required that I pay like 20 cents. Is my friend telling the truth.

eBay has a listing fee to list your items and then when you sell your item they also take out a final value fee. They get you both coming and going.

And then if you use PayPal, which is an eBay subsidiary, they get a fee from you again when you receive your payment.

Talk about your legal scams. Shocked

There is a way to earn 20 cents from surveys.
Or at the end of the auction they can deduct 20 cents from the price the
other person is paying you.
Thats how ebay makes money.
