well in england they say they are gonna try and stop people illegaly downloading music (dunno about any where elce) and that most internet suppliers are gonna try and stop people.... does any one know how they would do this? eg. will they track it through i.p. adress?

No possible way. They can't track every single person from downloading music. It's impossible.

Yeah I heard that too. They will not cut ur internet permantly like in France for 1 year, but REDUCE ur internet speed. But ofcourse u will get warnings first.

I also heard that they find u by tracking illegal torrent actions or something.

The ppl that are against it, complains that this method to track is unpricesly and can cause many innocent ppl involved. (Like ur neighbour managed to crack ur WEP Wlan password and dl illegal stuff)

Yay, norwegian companies/laws/ w/e have no intentions to do this ^_^

Wow... why don't you just laugh at yourself doing illegal things?
Of course they aren't going to catch you now, but you will get caught eventually.
And even if i gamehack, it's at least not illegal.

They won't do it in canada or united states without a warrent and that takes 2-3 weeks for them to get it + they inform you then so you can stop... Why in Canada or America? Because we have the privacy act.

Actually they can, but they only hunt the big sharks (100 movie's download a day, or 1000 music tracks) .. Your personal useage of Movies and music etc, is never gonna be of their interest (:
