When i click the button to start downloading "file from the internet" my application "freezes" like i have set sleep(99999999999); and it continues like that until the download is completed.

The first example is with progress bar which is really nice.
But does anybody of you have any idea how to fix this?

It's because it's doing it in the main-thread.
Either do it in a seperate or use a indy-component for it (idHTTP).
