I'm trying to still hack this game, I found this adress in the picture which when I "NOP", nothing will decrease like wood, gold, or stone, but nothing increases either which is bad because I need them to increase so I can build better buildings. Is there a way to do something to this adress so it will not decrease anything but let it increase somehow?

EDX holds the value. Change EDX.

What do you mean by that sponge? if I change EDX to 1388 or 5000, the game crashes?

I cant really see that picture. Double click info to bring up the more info and post a picture of that.
You can find the pointer for it and freeze it. only allow it to increase.

The value is stored in edx. this is just an example script of what i can make out from that picture Shocked
no clue if it would work but it looks real close. (squints eyes)

[enable]
alloc(myass,1024)
mov [edi+eax+04],64
jmp 00541307

00541303:
jmp myass

[disable]
dealloc(myass)
00541303:
mov [edi+eax+04],edx


Jump into a code cave first. So you code will be run at myass. The third line with 64. That changes the value of edx to 100.
100 is 64 in hex
instead of the value in edx being used you'l get 100 or whatever you put there. Shouldnt crash now (fingers crossed)

I just changed the value of edx by right clicking on it and choosing "Change register at this location" and edited edx to 1388, but thats probably the samething as what you just posted, Im not sure

oh... then it shouldn't have crashed... unless your game has anti debuggin protection.

LOL cant win them all i guess. That was a blind script anyway.

Ok how about finding a pointer with a static base. Tick the box (allow increase) Then your value will only increase.

yea I've tried that and I got a static adress but it doesnt do much, it shows 5000 or something for wood but its actually like 19 or something.

Maybe you dont have the true value. Sometimes in a game there will be more then one addy for things. one for the face value (what you see) one for the real value.
Try doing a decreased,increased value scan and see if theres anything else you can find.

If you can see 5000 but you only have 19 then my guess is try a different addy.

Shit son you got some work cut out for ya.
Is that the same address as before. I wouldnt bother with that one especially after seeing that pointzilla.

I was gonna download the demo but its way too big.
Keep at it though, you should have a pointer by next year sometime.
