Well thanks to Full Tilt poker bonus, I currently have roughly 2.6k on this account (600$ initial deposit + 600$ bonus + profit)
What you see on TV, is way out of my league right now =(
I've been playing poker for 6 months now, for anyone who's interested in playing, you have to know that you're going to have to spend a lot of time studying and playing the game before making any profit at all. The internet is full of people ready to give their money to you.

What you see on TV, is way out of my league right now =( | That's crazy. I thought it was illegal now to gamble for real money on online poker.

It's not illegal, but last year, a lot of poker rooms started refusing US players from playing. Now only a few places accept them.

On October 13, 2006, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act of 2006 was signed into law. Under the Act, much Internet gambling in the United States is now potentially illegal, depending on the laws of the state where the player is located. But I'm not sure how some rooms still accept them. Pretty stupid to imply that poker is gambling but whatever.
No, I'm 17, I play under my mother name/credit card

Well yeah. In my opinion, it's way better to do what I do 3 hours a day then working in a supermarket or in the fast food industry.
