The reason he's the best rapper alive (also musician) is that he can write a song on any beat (yes any beat) on the spot. He doesn't spend hours or days thinking of one, it takes him a minute or two. Now that's true freestyling. Too bad his lyrics don't have much meaning or he'd be as good as 2pac.
Tupac was named the second greatest musician to have ever lived (only to Beethoven.

tupac is probably the best alive... I'm pretty sure he is still alive because he released more albums after death then some artists ever release in there whole life time...

Best rappers dont exist, I personally think Rap sucks ass.
But best Rapers do.
My favorite is the north cal Rapeist. (short for the North california rapist
because he attacks women only in the n. california region.
He was aired four times on America's Most Wanted and he was at large
for 32 years already.

Honestly, tupac wasn't even great imo. Lil' wayne is just a greedy nigger, lupe is good.
This whole thread is just opinion. And lil' wayne is seriously what is bad about modern rap. Ridiculous, repetitive, fractured english with a beat behind it. Horrible.

This topic is for rappers and not rapers. Rap is a style of music where one can express themselves freely.

Rap is about openly expressing yourself, that's what lil wayne does.

I'm guessing you're black. Have heard of T.I. and NAS but not like they are hte best like you say. Like i said this is an extremely biased and opinionated topic, created by a close minded, ignorant person. I doubt your bf, lil wayne, writes his own lyrics.
