Hi,
I'm newbie of CE, hope not to post a stupid question.
Anyway I have a kind of stupid poker I would like to cheat, so I begin to read the tutorial.
I found 7 address that contains my value, and they correctly change asap I play the game.
Then I try to modify, first I try only one then all at the same time, but after I switch to the game, the value are set back to the original value.
So I think they are pointers. Indeed following the step 6 of the tutorial, I see that 6 of these address, when I press "Find out what writes to this address", appears an ASM line code: 006ADD5 - 88 02 - mov [edx], al.
But the first contains other 2 asm code plus the one common to the others.
Anyway, I go on with tutorials and when I should enter the probably value of the pointer between [ ] I can't find anything!
How can it possible? I wrong something?
Any good advice is really appreciated!

Hi, thank you for your reply.
The fact is that I find the value to change, then I press "Find out what writes to this address", and I see this asm line code 006ADD5 - 88 02 - mov [edx], al and registry edx give me the address of the value to change.
So I search for a address containing the address just found, in HEX 4 byte, as the tutorial says, but I find anything, I don't see any address.
Is it possible? how can I fix the problem?
