Depends on how much you wanna spend but in general I would say:

4GB RAM, it's so cheap now might as well get it, and you'll end up using it all sooner or later.

4850 is a monster for $200

500GB SATA now costs $75 so I'd go for that, good price/storage ratio.

I don't want to upgrade my processor because it has 2.8 gigs and I can't find 2 gig ram sticks.

If your motherboard still uses regular DDR, then you should really upgrade the CPU and motherboard too. But for running the Orange Box, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

4GB of RAM should cost you $40-$80.

Motherboard specifications so that I know what interface should be used. The best you can get for AGP is the 3850, and for PCI-e, a good choice would be the 4850, although for playing the Orange Box, you wouldn't really use all that processing power.

There are very good deals (GB/dollar) for 500GB to 1TB drives.
