Yay. Desktop icons deleted or can't be seen, taskbar and Start button can't be accessed (They're gone! Sad ) System restore points deleted, Win32/Parite.exe virus has overrun every file on computer, only way to open a program is to use Task Manager>New Task...>xxxx. Internet history, bookmarks, cookies has been deleted. Don't tell me to reformat, either. I are fux'd. Rolling Eyes

Save everything you can...

Then format...

Actually if you really cant save anything to a disk... (i will get flamed for this..)

Get a copy of ubuntu LiveCD... boot it up... DO NOT INSTALL IT... mount your NTFS partition, pop in an external hard drive or flash drive... copy your files from your NTFS partition to the external media and DONE!

Now format...


NOTE: Either way you probably have to format it...
