if it was legalized there should be a limited use and amount and stores should sell it like cigarrettes but then too many people would get high and go to work but cigarrettes are worse so y should marijuana be illegal and ciggarettes be legal maybe it should be the other way around. and i think it should be illegal cuz if all the cops got high people would go hold up stores and banks so whats the point of legalising it. and it is legal in my country for medical use |
Dude being high is so much better than being drunk. Drunk ppl don't know they r drunk n they have this habbit of killing ppl with cars. Have u seen a pothead drive when he was high? |
Do you realize that with every post you make yourself seem less and less intelligible about weed.

Some kind of stoner you are, and no you wouldn't, because you don't sell weed.
I has never met a actual dealer either who has not wanted it to be legal, it isn't like they would have cafes opening up everywhere, they would probly just make the laws not as harsh.
Like, no penaltys for growing, ect.

I don't think it should...reason why: its just another 'bad habit' to add to the mass of morons in this world. Why legalize something that alters ones mind, and has proven to cause non-desired effects to long time users. Also, Im sure hes not saying everyone would get up in the morning and smoke a piece, but i guarantee you A LOT would.
Because, I know of plenty of morons that do it now. Also, Once legalized, people will view it as a addiction such as cigarettes. Thus, they will smoke one in the morning before work, school, etc.
Main reason why (most) people don,t is because, Its illegal. Therefore, in the user's eye, The risk outweighs the pleasure, of lighting one up and going to school and/or work and being caught.
However, once legalized, people will result to having a 'smoke break' during work, or smoking one before school and/or work. Thus, Dumbing down the generations.
I'm sorry, I know pot heads like to think they are intelligent and not following the 'herd' but in all actually, a lot of them have smoked their brain to a stand still, and are in-fact following the 'herd'. The 'herd' of course would be that of pot smokers.
Lastly, I don't know about most of you, but i would prefer not to have a doctor operate on me, who in his past time enjoys getting high before surgery, or working with a co-worker who sits around all day smelling like weed, dressing unprofessional, and being lethargic all day, talking about how the governments out to get us, and thinking that hes being 'real' all because he's weak enough in the mind to have an addiction to a drug.
No flame intended, but you all know its common knowledge, and no not all pot smokers act as i just described. But, the majority does.
Also, its quite funny how the pot smokers are the ones wanting the drug to be legalized and no one else...does that mean we should justify their ignorance? If so...Maybe we should also legalize murder, rape, or child molestation, I mean after all, they have a addiction, and they don't see anything wrong with it half the time.

O.k. and the Cops who wakes up and drinks down a micky of vodka in the morning because there so fucked up from all the death / child porn / what ever else they have to see on a daily basis is less harmful then a cop who smoked a joint in the morning? or how about the doctor that is stress out from working 12hour days dealing with people who are about to die or felt like they have killed some one in there O.R and hide bottles of brandy or w/e else in there desks yea i really want some one like that operating on me. people make choices how are you too say a pot heads are worse then any one else.
Theoretically if i told you water tasted bad and could harm you and you had never tried water before would you trust me or try it for yourself?
If you never smoked marijuana before how can you say it makes you act this way or look a certain way....

I understand what your trying to say, but even at that logic, why add more substance to said peoples lives?
Also, I have tried it, and found it and its users to as a whole a big let down, and put the stuff down as quick as I tried it.
Facts are, that water doesn't harm (unless given in ridiculous quantities)marijuana does. The only reason a lot of people fail to
comprehend this, is simply because we as humans don't like to be told that what we are doing is wrong.
However, doing any type of drug is wrong. Main reason being, you are depriving your brain of oxygen when use of any mind altering substance, thus result in adverse, and sometimes often severe side effects. Weed can at times be more deadly than a cigarette. This of course depends on the situation. I can say however, that during my time working at the hospital, I saw a teenager come into the E.R. who was suffering from a cardiac arrest due to excessive use of marijuana; Not cocaine, not heroin, not even alcohol.
I'm not saying any drugs is better than the other, they are all bad.
You may not believe me, and I'm sure some may continue to be ignorant about the truth, and dispute its properties, but not all medical examinations and intensive researches tell lies.
All im saying is, I would believe a REAL Doctor telling me that marijuana is bad, more than I would a 'street pharmacist' trying to tell me its not.
Following reading material for enlightenment on the issue:
1. marijuana-addiction. n e t /marijuana-side-effects
| Quote: | | Despite a popular belief, marijuana side effects speed up the heart, blood and breathing rate. The body is taxed more and this speeds up the aging process just like methamphetamines do. The marijuana side effects from this extra exertion on the body include a higher risk for lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes. |
2. marijuanapassion. c o m /Marijuana-Side-Effects
| Quote: | Neuropsychiatric Adverse Effects of Marijuana
Anxiety and panic
Paranoia
Confusion
Aggressiveness
Hallucinations
Sedation
Altered libido Possible suicidal ideation
Depersonalization
Derealization
Poor sense of time
Worsened short-term memory
Addictive behaviors
Amotivational syndrome |
3. personalhealthzone. c o m/marijuanasideeffects
| Quote: | | Someone who smokes marijuana regularly may have many of the same respiratory problems as tobacco smokers. These individuals may have daily cough and phlegm, symptoms of chronic bronchitis, and more frequent chest colds. Continuing to smoke marijuana can lead to abnormal functioning of lung tissue injured or destroyed by marijuana smoke |
4. familydoctor. o r g/online/famdocen/home/common/addictions/drugs/485
| Quote: | | Using marijuana can be especially dangerous in certain situations, such as when you are driving, because your reaction time is slower. This make it more difficult to react to a dangerous situation, which could cause an accident. |
5. drugs.c o m/marijuana
| Quote: |
Marijuana affects memory, judgment and perception. Learning and attention skills are impaired among people who use it heavily. Longitudinal research on marijuana use among young people below college age indicates those who use marijuana have lower achievement than the non-users, more acceptance of deviant behavior, more delinquent behavior and aggression, greater rebelliousness, poorer relationships with parents, and more associations with delinquent and drug-using friends. |
6. ncadi.samhsa.g o v
| Quote: | Marijuana affects your self-control. Marijuana can seriously affect your sense of time and your coordination, impacting things like driving. In 2002, nearly 120,000 people were admitted to emergency rooms suffering from marijuana-related problems, an increase of more than 139 percent since 1995.1
Marijuana affects your lungs. There are more than 400 known chemicals in marijuana. A single joint contains four times as much cancer-causing tar as a filtered cigarette. |
The studies don't lie. Instead of trying to legalize another substance that can kill you, and/or hurt you. Why not try and eradicate it?
