All my Desktop icons and task bars have dissappeared. I can't press the windows button to open any programs or anything. The only way im opening programs right now is Task Manager. Does anyone have a clue of how to fix this?

Open up task manager and start the process explorer.exe!
(Or simply restart the computer)

You save it with the extension: .reg
Then execute it.

Dont stop explorer.exe...
Right click, go into some options... click show icons... LULZ?
There is a way to disable icons by right clicking on the desktop, it is very funny to pull mindless pranks such as those.

He meant that you should start up explorer, rightclick at your desktop and choose Show icons. You can disable them.

I love when people don't even read through the thread before posting a response.

Restarting in safe mode will make it function correctly, but that doesn't fix the problem.
Although from there I suppose it would make solving it easier.
