If anyone know how to change or convert static into dynamic, please post a TuT, I've been looking for a tutourial all day on the internet. If you know how, please post you TuT, Rep included.

Well, you CAN'T change a static ip. Unless you get a new one from your ISP.

I've heard of people changing it by messing with their router, I don't know the specific things they did though.

Also, you can by calling your ISP and requesting it.

They'll probably ask you why you want to change it, just say something like 'Somebody is remotely accessing my PC over my network'.

Well, you can change your MAC-ID number in your router, then shut it off and wait for your ISP to send you a new ip, then restore the ID. I tried it once but I'm unsure of the consequences if they find out.

I'm not quiet sure - but you can go to your router and check what settings you have, there's usually a place where you can see some randomboxes, like:
Static ip
Dynamic ip
'sdf''''**
******

Open a DOS window, and type the command:

ipconfig /all

Look at the results. If the line Dhcp Enabled has a Yes beside it, you have a dynamic IP address.

I got linksys, and yes i do have a Dynamic, but how do i change my Ip then?.

change the numbers & letters (letters from A-F) and save changes then unplug your modem & router plug your modem in wait for the internet then plug your router in you should have a new ip.

Anyways, i am pretty sure you cant change from a static to a dynamic (or vice versa)... but it is possible to change your IP. Search,
