i don't know where the $120-$200 for sound card came from. i picked up a 5.1 surround sound card for only $20-$30 a couple weeks ago and it works well. and this is $AU.

Make sure you get the OEM version then if you're going to get a HSF.

Yes, they should be. The stock fan's good. Why do you want to build a comp.?

Its less expensive then buying a manufactured computer.Plus its more custom and i know where and how everything works in it so i can easily change a part or w/e. Then there that feeling if knowing you can do something.

From the list, the value of your parts is pretty bad. You could get much better parts at around the same price.

Motherboard: GA-G31M-S2L http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128078
RAM: (you probably won't use all 4GB of RAM, especially if you are running a 32-bit operating system)
4GB kit: GSkill http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122
2GB kit: Kingston HyperX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134012
Stock Heatsink will do fine even if you are overclocking
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 320GB 7200RPM 16MB Buffer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136074
Case: (I prefer spending more money on the actual computer rather than the case) the case you have selected works well enough
DVD Drive is good
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts 430W PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371006
