I found the address to the x coordinates, which you can use to teleport through walls and such.
But when you do find otu what writes to it you get this.
And no pointer value. Plus, it changes every load screen... so its a bit difficult to point to it... pointer scan shows nothing.... so how would I point to this address... I saw phych made a trainer that saves and restore your postion... so im guessing he would know.... and a few others.

Yeah you've got the wrong co-ords value i'm thinking.
You shouldn't just get that writing to the 'real' co-ords value.
Did you move your character though after activating that debug option or not?
If not, I wouldn't expect a lot of results standing still with 'find what writes to this address'.
You don't want to be relying on what writes to the address.
Look into 'find out what accesses this address'.
I used one of those frequently 'accessed' opcodes in order to code-inject and save my position to memory, and then later used a similar method to restore. This method means that even if the players is stood still, or on the menu screen, it will still be able to save the position to memory because the game is still running through that opcode.
Then to restore it, I used another frequently access opcode, but I don't think it was another co-ords one. I'm pretty sure I would have used a player health address or something similar for convenience.
There is a tutorial by whitey on creating a save/restore tele. Its as good as any. In face, I think its only one of a handful of tutorials of its kind.
It can be hard to follow if your new to this stuff, but thats what forums like this are for. Plus, i've got my own tuts to come very shortly I hope.
It'll cover a lot of diffent topics that I don't think have been properly explained before, at least not in a tutorial.
In summary, a save/restore is the most simple thing there is.
Its not just search for a pointer, maybe a do a quick 2 minute AA-script and then its done. You need to have an understanding of some other concepts.
I'll attach what I can dig up for you to this post.

I found the true coordinates in assassin's creed, because when you freeze it your character goes crazy... and that's the only address that does it.... but it wont give me the pointer not even the pointer scanner....
By you mean debug do you mean find out what writes to this address.... and attaches the debugger?
If so then yes, it gave me one op-code
mov edi,ebx
or something like that....
There are similar addresses with the exact number.... however they wont work if you freeze them or modify them

Use find out what access the address. And tab back into the game, but don't move your character. You should get approx. 6 or 7 opcodes accessing the coords address.
They are the ones you should use

i'm not so sure but i think you found wrong address.
first find your address then freeze it and back to game move your character if you can't move then it's correct address but if you can move it's wrong address.
and for another problem like Psych said use"find out what access to this address".

Yeah it will...its a levelled-pointer..which isn't a suprise for ya surely.
Got these from my workings of late:
| Code: |
//X-Coord
[ [ [ [AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe+01611CB4] +C ] + 3F4 ] +40]
|
Then the other co-ords are offset by 4-bytes, like I noted before.
So you'd have +44 / +48 for the other two co-ords as the offset for the last pointer address.
There i've given em to ya, lol, no excuse now
