ok i understand what it is but how do you know to use it in certain situations it only seems to work in Tower Defense games but are there other games that use the x8 method and if so TELL ME!!!

x8 is for Flash 9 games. Easily compare a value with x8 and if it's correct, then you should probably know to use x8 for that Flash game. Normal games do not use this method. (Unless specifically programmed to do it.)
