Woah, you are totally right, when people smoke and get lung cancer, its not worth it, but when you smoke weed, it's totally worth it, because you get "high".
The few times I've smoked weed, I was "high".
Although being "high" is how I nearly always am, so I didn't even notice it.
I have deduced that being high is mearly a mindset that you get into when you smoke weed, but can easily be achieved without ever putting anything into your system.
Alcohol on the other hand is definitely not worth being drunk, as it kills your brain cells (neurons, do not regenerate). _________________

You don't always get high the first time you smoke weed. _________________

You need to be 19 here to buy cigs, why they mysteriously changed it from 18 is beyond me, but whatever, I don't smoke much anyway. Maybe if I'm offered one or some shit as a social thing.
Not being able to buy booze is kind of dumb though. I can be drafted, given a gun and maybe blown the fuck up, but can't drink legally.
wtf. |

You don't have any reason to lower the age, except your dealer is running low, and you need your fix. |
They are talking about making people have to have a permit to smoke. _________________

Where I live you need to be 18, and I think that's fine because seriously it's not hard to have access to those products if you are under aged.
Although I agree that smoking and drinking a lot is bad for you, drinking a glass of brandy and a fine cigar 1 time in a week or 2, won't kill you, maybe _________________

First of all, marijuana is not physically addictive. Unlike heroin, alcohol and even tobacco and caffeine, discontinuing the use of marijuana does not produce physical withdrawal symptoms, thus one cannot be detoxed from THC, the chemical in marijuana responsible for producing the “high” in the smoker.
Secondly, marijuana, if used responsibly, is safe. According to drugwarfacts.org, there are an estimated 435,000 deaths per year in the United States due to tobacco use and 85,000 deaths due to alcohol.
So, how many people die every year from using marijuana? Zero. That’s right, the use of marijuana alone has not been shown to cause any deaths. _________________

LOL! I already know this shit kid, the thing is that Weed may not KILL people or make them ADDICTED, but it does cause harm to the human body. Weather or not you wanna believe it does not stop it from being true.
Q: What are the long-term effects of marijuana use?
A: Findings so far show that regular use of marijuana or THC may play a role in some kinds of cancer and in problems with the respiratory and immune systems.
Cancer
It’s hard to know for sure whether regular marijuana use causes cancer. But it is known that marijuana contains some of the same, and sometimes even more, of the cancer-causing chemicals found in tobacco smoke. Studies show that someone who smokes five joints per day may be taking in as many cancer-causing chemicals as someone who smokes a full pack of cigarettes every day (15) .
Lungs and airways
People who smoke marijuana often develop the same kinds of breathing problems that cigarette smokers have: coughing and wheezing. They tend to have more chest colds than nonusers. They are also at greater risk of getting lung infections like pneumonia.
Immune system
Animal studies have found that THC can damage the cells and tissues in the body that help protect against disease. When the immune cells are weakened you are more likely to get sick. _________________

I'm not trying to bash or flame you, I'm just saying that Marijuana does in fact cause harm.
The harm it cause's is very very minimal but it is still there. Of course weed is safer then any other type of drug of there but all drugs have side effects. _________________
