How would you scan a .txt file?

For example, If I went to notepad, than I made a file saying "Hello", how would I code a program so that when I type in the the textbox "Hello" and click find, it will look for the word.

Exactly like the Ctrl+F function on any web-browser.

I'm thinking using the System.IO namespace?

StreamReader or something like that? Help me code it please - using VB.net

TextBox1.Text.IndexOf

I'm pretty sure is what you're looking for. TextBox1 obviously being the name of your TextBox control.

and yes, you'd use StreamReader to read the file.

Rofl.... Searching for vars in a txt file is not a good var scanner

The only good is
Variable Explorer,Atlas,Flash Variable Editor, Other Var scanner i dnt wanna mention
