How would you scan a .txt file?
For example, If I went to notepad, than I made a file saying "Hello", how would I code a program so that when I type in the the textbox "Hello" and click find, it will look for the word.
Exactly like the Ctrl+F function on any web-browser.
I'm thinking using the System.IO namespace?
StreamReader or something like that? Help me code it please - using VB.net

Ahh.. im confused.
I wanna search something that I create. Like a notepad .txt file.
I'm basically trying to create something like the CTRL + F when your lookin for a word. But im trying to create my own so I can learn a little bit about scanning and searching. Eventually in the summer ill make a public GOOD variable scanner..

Wouldn't you just use the GetVariable for scanning for variables in flash? Than just have it display the variable if it finds it in a TextBox or somethin..
And @ Slov, doesnt StreamReader just create a .txt file than open it up?
