Is it similar to delphi 7 in the way that you can just drag and drop stuff, and then write the code for them?

Oh.
Firstly, i'm not the one to blame, you're the one not making it clear in the first place.
And yeah, it's like Delphi/VB/C#, just that it could do a little bit more thing and is powerful than those programming languages by alot more.

Visual C++ isn't a separate programming language, it's just a compiler.
