Now I'm no expert with LCD monitors, but I think dead pixels are caused by the pressing of the LCD screen and broken transistors...lol.

That's actually pretty contradictory, since the solution is ''supposed to be'' pressing hard on it with a cloth soaked in hot water :\

Well you would have to press press hard onto the screen for it to do anything to the resisters in the screen.
Though I've never heard of that one.

Yeah...what I heard might have been a myth. I'll need to check up on that.
But, as far as I know, you seriously need to TRY to break your screen in order for it to be done any damage.

I have another question. If my screen ever got a stuck pixel or some other defective pixel and it got fixed somehow (flashing color apps), will it have increased chances of becoming defective again?
And I also believe that LCD are probably strong because I applied massive pressure to an lcd (not mine) and nothing happens. It could malfunction in the future maybe.

If it doesn't suffer any damage on the spot, meaning immediately, then it should not affect its long term usage.

but the long term usage will be a problem when poke the screen every day on same point with the finger (even if u dont poke hard), that might cause wrong colours after a time (and random colours and black if to long) if seen it on old screens that where handled careless (not mine of course and not by me lol)

Well no kidding, but if you poked it once or twice it'll be fine.
