|
|
Well, earlier I was on my pc and the keyboard just stopped working. I went to check if it was plugged in and it was slightly unplugged. I plugged it back in and it still didn't work. This happens sometimes when it gets unplugged, so a restart usually fixes it.
So! I restarted my computer, I saw the NUM/SCROLL/CAPS lock lights flash, meaning it's detected. Though none of the keys actually work. When I get to the login screen I can't type my password. When it has the screen for 'Boot menu' 'System recovery' and 'Setup' the keys do not respond either.
I tried with three keyboards and all have the same problem. It's 'detected' but doesn't actually work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well then it's probably the port, have you tried a different port?

Can't go out tonight, unfortunately. Thunderstorming.
Do you know of any other fixes? It's probably the port that's screwed up, though.

check the little wires in the port and in the wire end, if they are bent, try pushing them back.
