Hi StormHeroZ,
An Internet Protocol(IP) address refers to a unique number assigned to each computer on the Internet.An IP address consists of four numbers, each of which contains one to three digits, with a single dot (.) separating each number or set of digits. Each of the four numbers can range from 0 to 255. Here's an example of what an IP address might look like: 78.125.0.209
There are five classes of available IP ranges: Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D and Class E, while only A, B, and C are commonly used:
Class A------------------> 1.0.0.1 to 126.255.255.254
Class B -----------------> 128.1.0.1 to 191.255.255.254
Class C -----------------> 192.0.1.1 to 223.255.254.254
Class D------------------> 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255
Class E -----------------> 240.0.0.0 to 254.255.255.254
You can check your internet IP address by using .

You can check your internet IP address by using . | Your post seems to have been cut off at the end. You can check your IP either using the "ipconfig" command in a command prompt or by using a site such as whatismyip[dot]com. Also class based IP-adressing is kind of obsolete, instead if you are interested in learning read about CIDR & VLSM on Wikipedia.
