Yeah, I've been trying to say that all those files are a symptom of a virus but people keep saying they know everything. I hope he heeds our advice and looks into Vundo. Look at the specific .tmp files and where they are.

Probably temp, but the reason why these things won't delete [says it's being used etc.]
Is either because you have a process still running, or you're using a skin or something similar that uses the program whenever active.

Though they should be saving themselves to C:\documents and settings\yournamehere\local settings\temp
