I'f i were to download from a torrent, would i havta burn it, or could i just open it and go with the process

I'f i had to burn, what kind of disk?

Well, if your Windows was corrupt (virus, etc) wouldn't you want it to be on a CD... so, you know... you could actually access it, to fix your OS?

A regular CD (with sufficient memory) should work.

Well, i have XP, And i do already have a recovery disk, but when its at the stg to start the recovery, it says CANNOT OPEN IMAGE.GHO.

Btw other then that..

Burn the image into a standard disk.

When you 'burn' files to CD's, they turn into .ISO files.
