I think that the page filing/ virtual memory is used like normal memory, but I'm not sure. But at least that's how you can change how much page filing you have. >.>"

(If its XP, I think in the task manager you can tab over to the Performance tab, and it will tell you how much of the page filing it is using.)

What he wants is for specific background programs to utilize the VM, meanwhile have his real, reasource demanding apps to utilize his RAM.

I want to do the same.
