From how I understand it that's what your wanting, right?
I think that the page filing/ virtual memory is used like normal memory, but I'm not sure. But at least that's how you can change how much page filing you have. >.>"
(If its XP, I think in the task manager you can tab over to the Performance tab, and it will tell you how much of the page filing it is using.) |
What he wants is for specific background programs to utilize the VM, meanwhile have his real, reasource demanding apps to utilize his RAM.
I want to do the same.
