Download CPU-Z and run it. Once it gathers information, click on the 'Mainboard' tab. Take a screenshot of that (press prtscrn and paste it into paint then save) and post the screenshot here.

i got the popup, is the window supposed to stay white?

and i got the open, save, cancel window thing too

Yes, it is. Click save and run it once it is done.
