| My computer takes long to load, and go on internet. I recently formated my computer, currently using 11gigs out of 70 gigs. I norton virus scanner, found nothing. I used auslogic speed boster which defraged, disk clean, and something else, but it didnt help much. Any suggestions?

If a format didn't work, it's probably your hardware.
Possibly close to a harddrive failure; does it make weird noises that it hasn't made?

Wait.. How old is your computer?
Having 70 gigs for hard drive makes it at least a little old.
What are the specs on your computer? Maybe its just dying on you since its so old.

cheatz0r/Clavin- Of course he has it... His computer can't function without it. Trust me.. I deleted it once and I had to install all new drivers.

Don't worry about checking it. If your computer works, you have it.

... Again, he said that his computer was running slow. NOT that it can't turn on. If your going to help try a little harder. Without 'boot.ini' you can't even start your computer. It will tell you one of the three
1) Invalid Boot.ini
2)Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
3)Windows\System32\Hal.dll
I'm pretty sure you have it. Now, I've come to the conclusion your computer is just bad. You might want to upgrade some stuff to make it run faster. Preferably RAM and a Hard Drive. Won't cost you over $80 dollars if you go to www.newegg.com . Make sure the parts are compatible.

What Vista? I don't think his computer can handle that. I'm pretty sure he didn't install it. I know mines cant. Mines would explode in a second.
I personally would suggest just saving up some money and buying himself a good computer for $900 dollars. That way it will last him a while and be able to run it smoothly.
