Cheat Engine

I bought a 19" ViewSonic but i cant get the resolution to 1440x900. Its not my graphics card (NVIDIA 8500 GT) and ive tried playing around with the settings but nothing. I might have to return it, i cant find any solutions to this problem online.

Does anyone know what i can do?????

Chances are it came with a CD, install its "drivers".

They usually just install some .inf file that basically dictates what resolutions you can use.

Whats your model? Go check viewsonic's site and see if they have something more up to date, they'll probably have you do it manually as well.

Try rightclick on your desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Monitor > Uncheck "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display"

Yay its on the right resolution, thanks for the help guys.

I thought i updated all the drivers, it turns out i didnt update my graphics card drivers, that was my problem.

I can see everything better now ^^
