ok..ill dl one of the programs from this site and scan my computer..

which program is best for locating viruses and spyware?

AVG is a good free antivirus, and AdWare is a good free anti-spyware program.
Spybot Search & Destroy is also a good anti-spyware.

There isn't a best, but there's plenty of good ones.
