You know when u press the power button, it turns on and shows the above image rite?
For some reason, my laptop's loads REALLY SLOW compared to my computer.
I dont get it, my laptop is newer.

Right click on 'My Computer' and click properties. It should have an amount of RAM in the lower part of the window that pops up.

a 1.5 year old laptop wouldn't have 248mb of RAM. if that's the case get a better computer because i wouldn't buy extra RAM for a shitty computer. also why do you care if one computer starts up faster than the other? just turn your computer on a minute earlier before you use it. and if you've got too much shit starting up with your computer untick some stuff under startup in the sys config by running "msconfig".
