| I just bought a new HD TV today, but when I plug my xbox into the HD ports it gives me picture but no sound, so I have to use the regular TV port, which are a little delayed. anyone know how to make HD have sound?

First make sure everything is plugged in right. Play around with it. Since I have like 10 ports on my TV I had to find the right ones.
Secondly, make sure the little switch on the Xbox is set to HD not Analog. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/2/223316.jpg
Hope this helps.

try this plug all the HD cables into thier spots then theres the 3 cables for non HD plug the white cable into a spot for the input that the HD ones are plugged into. So pretty much you have to plug in all the HD ones plus the white one from the non HD. This should work well this is what i do
EDIT: forgot the red cable too :p

It's White and Red, not just white.

| Some TV's don't support audio over HDMI, stupidly enough. Try hooking up the standard analog(white and red) cables as well and see if that does the trick.

My friend had the same exact problem he just left it alone for a while and eventually about 1 week later he got sound.. i mean you can fiddle around with your T.V and maby break it.. or you can just wait thats how he saw it.. And his prayers were answerd lol..
