i just reformatted my laptop which has a built in wireless network adaptor. how can i connect to an existing wireless network connection?

Hopefully you have a flash drive or something.

Run this on it. Take a screenshot of the Mainboard tab and post it up here. I'll try to get you your mobo drivers.
