Not my PSP, but a friend's PSP's home, vol+ and vol- have stopped working, since he doesn't have an account, I figured I'd ask for him and just relay information. Below is an identical picture of his PSP, with the faulty buttons in green. Anyone ever encounter this? Fix it?

Could be a simple wiring issue Confused

Hmm that's odd
I'll look up some more
I have a few friends who own PSP's

EDIT:
Someone else has had this problem as well
He solved it by doing this

Ressetting it or replacing the battery pack

EDIT 2:
Also It seems many people have been getting this exact sort of problem with PSP slims and it usually turned out the button was just broken

They usualyl managed to take it in and get it fixed

We've decided to order a replace cord for the inside, and service it ourselves. It has no warranty and he can't pay out the ass to get it fixed.

On a side note..yay. Now I want to fix PSPs as well!
