hi all, I've been having this problem recently with my non-wireless keyboard. it randomly "shuts off" and I can't type or do anything. the only solution is to restart my computer. unplugging and replugging the keyboard does not work.

Well usually if it stops working for some reason, you would need to restart it anyway, so that part isn't part of the problem.

I'd say the wire is just aging, too much bending can break the wires now.
