Okay, about 2 weeks ago my computer started to boot up really slow.
At the first screen where you can do like
*F2 for setup
*f12 for Boot w/e
It loads, but it takes like 5 minutes to go the the next screen..
I realized that when I turn off my CD drive port thingy, that it loads normal and well fast within 10 seconds or so..
Any idea on why this happens?
I didn't change any settings or anything, I've had the computer for 2+ years..
Uh, I've re-installed OS (not for this)..

Just change it in the BIOS to boot from the HD first. It's most likely checking the CD drive for a bootable disk. If you need to boot from CD later on, just change it to boot from CD first again.

It could be having a hard time detecting the CD drive for some reason. It could be a cable related issue. Check the cables and see if they are loose or damaged.
