just a quick question how i can make my p.c. faster not the booting proces but the programs i run. pentium 4 -- 1.52ghz 512mb -- 256 video.

disk cleanup.disk defragment or use something esle. Alt Control Delete and "close" some programs. Only Do This ones if you know what to shutdown. that should help in some ways Confused

k, thanks there is 1 program ehmm,.. its called -- non active programs -- can i shut that one down? it uses 94% of my memory. Cool

Uninstall any programs you don't use anymore

Defragment

Scan for viruses and adware



Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services

Disable the ones you don't use.

Do all of the above and delete programs that are useless and that takes up a lot of memory.

loosen your startup start>run>type msconfig>startup>untick stuff you dont need
