After downloading a fake audio file on LimeWire - Stupid, Yes.
My shared files on Limewire increased to 17,000.. What the fuck?
My computer,2.4Ghz fast, is incredibly fast,
I'm getting popups on Youtube, also what the fuck,
I'm recieving a windows script error when I start up my PC,
My AVG was uninstalled,
I don't know where to access these 17000 files, to delete them, (Searched)
The 17,000 files, when browsed on limewire, are in "Shared files"
They are random things I've never downloaded before (I know this).
My computer is at the slowest I've ever seen it,
All my programs stop responding, or have the don't send error.

Oh ffs, I can't even system restore because there are no fucking checkpoints.

All help is massively appreciated.

..used to use that years back.
it WAS good however now its just a virus junk yard

How do you get a virus from an audio file? If you want to make sure its legit, click on all the files you downloaded in the limewire queve.If it said something like, file not correct format, but its a virus then delete it.

some mp3s have viruses in them. When you download something off p2p programs like that make sure to look at the file size to see if it's the appropriate size for a music file, or any other file. Say you're searching for Adobe Photoshop, and it's 22kbs, well yea you get the point. :]

I'm sorry to say, but your best option is to Reformat...
However, don't take this experience negatively, because at least now you know how much of a "Virus Junkyard" (nice choice of words) Limewire is... Next time I'm sure you will use more trusted programs like BearShare or Emule (personal favourite for most things).
If you really don't want to reformat, give me some time and I may find another solution researching...
