anyways back on topic I think buying mid price hardware is best because top of the range stuff is overpriced and soon obselete anyway,,
buy mid range price stuff and you can upgrade next time the newer stuff comes out without feeling robbed when you throw your older expensive pc away

I have to disagree with the "soon obselete anyway,," that's not true, if you bought a 8800 Ultra when it came out, you had the best card for about a year and counting. (Not sure if the new ATI card 3870X2 performs better or not)

Well you can do what a lot of people do, sell old parts and buy new parts, at the end, you're top of the line computer may not cost as much as you were thinking.

The 3870X2 is 1-5FPS faster than the 8800 Ultra in most applications, but that only happens because of dual GPU. I would still recommend the 8800GT 512MB above all other graphics cards, it is much cheaper than the top-of-the line cards, while only a few FPS off. ATi still wins the title of "fastest single graphics card" award, for now.
But you'll have to sell them while they are still worth some money

Dude you don't know shit about computers. Who the fuck searches something on google and memorizes it? I am certain everyone who knows something about hardware have dealt with it hands on. Yes you must have the best anti virus ever, you must have Norton it's so fucking godly. Go learn how to plug in a USB Flash Drive before you talk shit.
