|
|
| I've never seen this before in game. Basically, changing the values for things directly will not work(changes are not real); however, the values in question in the game "regenrate" at a set rate, and that rate can be altered via the general spedhack and the resulting increase in client values due to the increased gamespeed are REAL. Why in the world does the server trust my gamespeed but not the values I directly alter?? So what is being altered by the general speedhack that would allow this to happen? Can you get the value you are manipulating when you change the speed setting directly in an address form? Or is this some code that's actually inside of the cheatengine process exclusively that wouldn't show up when scanning the game??

i think with speedhack it just looks faster for u
or maybe:
if u speedup everything you'r client runs faster and saves later to server but when u change values he maybe tries to tell the server directly
don't know if its right but i tgink its a possibility

Cheat Engine has a dll file that is a hook for certain functions that are common to speed up a client.
If you scan and find them, it will lead you to the dll it uses.
CEHook.dll
Now what this tells you if you can speedhack using it. Then you can find something to do a speedhack in the game. Even tho your values you are altering are visual only. There is something that can be altered to get a speedhack.

Interesting, but no idea if this "something" will be simply an address on the client side? Then it could be found by doing search unknown initial value, then 2x speed on CE, then serach for values increased by 100%. Then keep messing around with it.

It will lead you to the hook dll. But what it is hooking is in the client, yes.
Now if you pop open olly, you can jump back to the main exe from a break in the hook maybe.
Say like your looking for something and it ends up with a break in kernel32.dll you can click it in the stack window and hit enter and you jump back to the main exe. Not sure if this method works all the time like this since im learning to use olly more and more each day.
