Thats not rambooster, its called a ram tweaker this isnt going to make your ram go to 512>1024 MB..

Ironically enough the only thing a "RAM booster" will do is waste RAM. Hard to believe there's people that actually still believe those work. To answer your question, no Vista will not run too smoothly on 1GB of RAM. You should have at least 2GB.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a specific need for it. Vista is widely regarded as a failure right now (even by Microsoft), at least wait until SP1 is released.
