Dude, what's hard to understand? You don't need to run in SLI unless you play at high resolutions, besides if you REALLY want to go SLI, I'll wait till the 9 series to do so. Okay now about the Extreme processors, why the fuck do you want one if you're not going to overclock it massively?
But it seems that money is not a problem for you, if I were you, I would wait till the 9 series to come out, and go SLI (I do play at high resolutions) _________________

If money is not an object to you, just wait till 9 series comes out like unlmtd said, get the best one and get a new mobo and a intel c2q _________________

| Your current processor should run games just fine. Get a new video card, a single one, and stop buying into the SLi hype. A single 8800gt or second gen gts will work nicely. |

| Avoid the G80. The 8800GT beats the 8800GTS 640MB version, and by a lot. Under $1000? you have a lot of money there for a system. $1000 for what? |
