look up pipelining for instance.

I like IE because it's simple and clean looking.
Oh, And I hate toolbars. =]

not just that, you got the "My Favorite" near you, simple and tidy and closes after clicking on your desire link, not like FF "Bookmark", i'm not sure if it has a hot key to save it in your favorite

well I used them both like most people have, iexplorer is installed by default of course although they are having lots of court cases over that ,

one weakness of ie is the activeX components that allow system wide changes to be made via the internet, core system file updates through the browser,

that has been abused for over a decade now,

personally I used to have lots of virus/trojan shit when I used IE before I knew how to protect my pc,
then I changed over to firefox anyway cos its safer and I like the interface,

not going to let some sponsered website tell me whats safe or not just cos it shows a simple graph,
they got to say just why they came up with those results, and why they say its safe when IE is designed to allow massive control over your pc by default

{edit}
sorry forgot to say firefox has CTRL+D for the the bookmarks shortcut,

dont use it myself as I tend to sort bookmarks into folders for ease of finding and to save space instead of scrolling

I have never used Opera but FF is just fucking plain!
IE7 would be my choice if you're using FF!

FF is fast, but not fast enough.
Also it has a simple option to search for addons to make it look less plain.
I now have 3 browsers
1. IE [I will use for porn and stuff]
2. FF [dunno]
3. Opera I will use almost all the time
