So, i cant open task manager when i press Ctr Alt Del,
it just says: Disabled by administrator, but I AM the admin..
any tips?

Errr, I had that too, got so pissed off because it wouldn't let me use command prompt either. I ended up reformatting since I'm a reformatwh0re. =x

Are you on the pre-created Administrator account?

i didnt create an account. so im using the one that was there already, yesterday it was all fine, and now all the sudden i cant acces it :/ avg found a trojan tho, maybe thats the problem.

I was using the administrator account that was already there, then I created an account for my family and it sort of uh.. locked me out too.

I have no clue what the fix would be.

I've run into the same problem, but I found a utility called xp_taskmgrenab.exe somewhere on the internet.

Press WinKey+R, type regedit, not sure if this is the path but I think its HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTEWARE\Microsoft\Window\CurrentVersion\policies

Look there and in the subkeys if there's a value named "disabletaskmgr" or something like that. (if its not there try looking in the subkeys or same path in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, still, not sure, but google can help)

Press Start.

Click Run.

Type in:

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Press OK.

EASIEST WAY!
