Wrong section? General Programming should get you started.

Visual Basic is nice and easy, but there is a problem with using your programs on other computers (doesn't usually work) but visual basic studio 2005 is free , search it

Delphi is easy, but usually not free. On the upside it can be used on most computers with ease and is a tad more powerful than vb. Im using delphi now (got a torrent of RAD Studio for delphi)

C++\C\C# i dont have much experience with, mainly because i couldn't be bothered (takes much effort) the visual studios for C++ and C# are free aswell, probably the best if you want to make powerful apps and want something you can do almost anything with (provided you dont mind searching a lot and being wrong)

umm no, because it uses msvb6.dll or something like that, and it is required, actually, if you change the dependencies, you could probably fix it, pm me if you start vb.net and want some help with that...or something else

EDIT: Changed my mind, almost defenitely fixable, pm me if you want to know how

You are mad. VB applications works as good as anything else.

And C# are sooo good.

Just pick one.
It doesn't really matter and if u dont like it then you could allways learn another one.
It's just good to be able to handle multiple languages.
