Prices aren't the same in Europe, which is why I buy all my stuff over in the USA. 8800GT is probably around 250 euros, which is about 367 dollars.

Not worth getting 8500 and below graphic cards... If you'd rather have a 8500 or a 8400 I'd say you better go for 7600GT and above. 8500 and 8400 are weaker than 7600GT cards. Better get 8600GT if you can manage it.
Here's a compare chart:
1 8800 Ultra (around 530 Euro) = 4~5 8600GT
1 8800 GTX (around 420 Euro) = 3~4 8600GT
1 8800 GTS (around 270 Euro) = 2~3 8600GT
1 8800 GT (around 145 Euro) = 2 8600GT
1 8800 GS (expect 115 Euro) = Coming soon
1 8600 GT (around 80 Euro) = 10% faster than 7600GT, works better in Windows Vista
1 8600 GTS (around 95 Euro) = 25% faster than 7600GT, works better in Windows Vista
