I just downloaded the program and joined the messageboard like 10 minutes ago (Nov/12/2003 4:30pm EST) and looked in the memory viewer. It looks really interesting, and I want to know more. What is this?
Code:
06                      - push es
00 05 00 02 00 64       - add [$64000200],al
de b6                   -
00 00                   - add [eax],al
00 00                   - add [eax],al
00 ff                   - add bh,bh
ff                      - db $ff

thx...

its the most basic of computer language: assembly. it is used to process calls and functions through the CPU and RAM stack and such.. if you know how to look at the code then you can do many things with it, like find values (like a regcode Wink ) you can also do some really cool things with games as well as programs. i think that dark byte wrote a quick description that comes up in a label when you click the disassembled line. there are some tutorials floating around the inet if you are really interested in programing in assembly.

Here's a simple explenation of the assembler code you wrote:

06 - push es
This command stores the value of the es register to the stack. (The stack is a place in memory pointed to by esp)

00 05 00 02 00 64 - add [$64000200],al
This command writes the value that is stored in register 'al' to the memorylocation $64000200

de b6 -
means nothing, unknown opcode

00 00 - add [eax],al
increase the address at the location pointed to by register eax with the ammount of al

00 00 - add [eax],al
same as above

00 ff - add bh,bh
increase the register bh with the same value.

ff - db $ff
Unknown opcode

registers are memory storages inside your processor so they are a lot faster than normal memory.

(the assembler code you showed here will not execute)
