i'm losing about 1gb every few minutes and im down to < 100 mb's its going up and down but it stays below 100 mbs. do u know what the problem is guys

Most likely a virus.

Follow these steps and see if something helps.

1. Empty the Recycle Bin *Norton A/V, the protected recycle
2. Delete everything in the Windows temp folder: C:\windows\temp
3. Do Scandisk
4. Delete your system restore settings
5. Go to your control panel - system - performance- file system
6. scan for infections

if all else fails you could always format. and is it saying that your total hdd size is less than 1gb, or the free space?

Install TuneUp Utilities 2007 and run TuneUp System Optimizer.
