Ok guys, I took it another step further. I'm pretty sure Nooblet got this but I'll post it anyways.
By hacking the _mmSWD file, you can ask the compiler to generate hex and ASCII values.

What you notice is that there are a lot of '/', indicating usage of machine language. The 0's have something to do with the '/', thus indicating usage of binary operations. I'm gonna have to install more language packs to figure the rest of the boxes out, so I'm gonna get a complete picture. The 'ÿ' has a dec of 152, and thats one of my weapon's attk power. I'm starting to get the picture.

So the point of what your doing there is trying to figure the values of the boxes , so that you can do more cheats , etc?
I've been trying to figure this I didn't get as far as I would have liked...but I'll keep trying it...

What i notice is that it is encrypted. And you need to work it out to decrypt it.
/ can mean anything also // making look like a path.

Wow... much easier to work with, lol. Makes me wonder what that looks like with a fresh level 1 save.
A few quick questions for you, Fluff:
1) What compiler do you recommend?
2) Have you made any more progress?
3) Do you have a website? (on which one may find the answer to Q2? =)
Glad to see someone actually doing this; I wondered if such a thing was possible a couple years ago when I started (leisurely) playing, yet I only now found out it actually saves a file to your computer.
I always assumed it was a server-side operation. -_-'

Ok while looking through this, and searching for a potential administrator hack, I came across some decrypted lines running with 'Administrator, Sir Gene, the commands, and some stuff I would suggest makes it work' so basically, I need to find a way to get the normal character area similar to this and replace it with this admin section, to possibly make an administrator enabled sherwood file. I'll see how this works out...

So far, I've only got a hex dump like Fluff, using VEDIT.

Update!
I've found a much simpler and user-friendly program.
It's called Hex Comparison. (hint: for those of you who don't have the $29.95 right now, try Crackspider.net =)
I don't know all the features yet, but from what I've seen so far, it should make this work go MUCH faster...
...hopefully I'll have some time to work on the save files soon too.
And, of course, if any of you use or know of one that's even better, by all means, post it. ;]
