| Code: | If timer1.enabled = false then
Timer1.enabled = true
mnuWhatever.checked = true
else
Timer1.enabled = false
mnuWhatever.checked = false
end if |
I usually use timers for hacks, thats why its Timer1.
And mnuwhatever is the menu button name

I suggest not using timers for this, you have two events that will do the work for you and don't need a timer for it at all. You wish to have 1 thing written when a menu is checked, then write the original when it is unchecked. So, firstly, you will want to make the checked function.
Firstly, to get your menu to toggle the check mark you can use this:
| Code: | Private Sub mnuCheats_Nop_Click()
mnuCheats_Nop.Checked = Not mnuCheats_Nop.Checked
End Sub |
One easy line of code to toggle the check on and off. Next, you can use an if then under that to check if it is checked or not and do the given cheats:
| Code: | If mnuCheats_Nop.Checked = False Then
'// Unchecked
Else
'// Checked
End If |
Next, it depends on what you want the code to do. Is your code going to freeze a value that will change if you don't write it constantly? Or is it a value that is static and will alter game play when you change it? Or, do you want to rewrite an instruction in the game?
